Okay i really don't know how long i can hold out.

This is really getting out of my control and there's really too much stuff to handle. Oh darn it. I'm sorry I sound so pessimistic but I'm really contributing too little to so many stuff.

Nvm Nationals in 1 week! How great is that! Anw, I wanna thank you for being my comfort. :)

Alright, now back to work.

Okay I honestly doubt anyone would read this since this blog has been dead and buried for close to 2 months.. Well NO TIME! Oh well i highly doubt I'd blog again after this till June Holidays (CAN U SMELL IT ALREADY? I can't.) Mad rush for stuff in term 2. This is a sincere apology to the weather project group! I'm sorry I didn't attend so many meetings throughout the course of the project especially this year and well. I'll try harder la. More actions than words i hope.

On a happier note..

Johor Soccer Trip 2006!

This is the highly anticipated trip:) Contrary to the previous Malacca trip, this time we went with tennis and netball.. Well it didnt start off very well because the bus couldnt make it and we had to change 1? 2? no i think a million buses before reaching the resort. Ohwell at least we reached the place safely. After a brief rest, the respective CCAs set off to the Johor Sports School for the respective matches and i guess we were all rather unsettled.

1st Friendly - Sports School

They were pretty good, their diagonal balls were quite excellentand their first touch was sublime! Hmmm.. I didnt start but I felt we played quite well regardless of the 4-0 scoreline, though it dipped towards the end of the firsthalf. This sports school team wasn't as good and strong as the malacca state team but comparatively, it was a much better performance than the previous friendlies especially cjc. We had a pool session at night and the food in the hostel SUCKED i'm sorry. :(

2nd Friendly - Ulu unknown team

WOOHOO i started this game! These guys looked bigger than those sports school players so I thought they would be better. But it turned out that the sports school team was weaker. Well no matter, we still played the match to our game. We started off well, and kept the pressure on them all throughout. We attacked alot and as we heeded coach's advice, our game became simpler and efficient. Raymond was BRILLIANT in that game! He deserved the captains armband through and through, his headers were all placed in, his aggression was right, his distribution was good his tactical sense was fantastic.. It was quite clearly one of the best games he has ever played! Good JOB RAYMOND! :D

Well i think my engine got hole. As the game progressed I kinda died out, especailly towards the end of the first half. Sigh my fitness clearly needs improving. So does my crosses and darn I really need the extra self trainings. I got screwed by a few people during and after the game even though we won 2-0 and played brilliantly and rightly so. The rest are putting in so much and really, feeling tired is hardly an excuse- who doesnt! "I can't move on. I move on." I must realise that soccer's a team game and everybody's tired but I have to move on, for myself, or at the very least, for the team.

I went back and realised that no matter what happens in the last friendly the next day, I will do my best and play my game. Alot of mistakes came from me being unsure and scared of continuing my run of mistakes. Ohwell we had this 'Praising one another" session by the pool that night right after the match and well i didnt get much praise (SIAN) but i think the comments they gave were constructive and for the best of me. So thank you guys!

Well on a happier note.. THAT WAS MY FIRST FULL MATCH! First TOTAL 90 ! OH MAN! HOW I LOVE IT:D I've been dreaming about it for so long.. Thanks coach!

Third Friendly - Sports School

We had another friendly with the sports school and we started off where we ended the previous day =) It was really nice to see the guys working keeping in shape, communicating really well and playing to the game. Aaron was spectacular in this game and he really showed us how much the game and the team meant to him through his aggression and fighting spirit. It was really great Aaron! Terence scored a wonderful lob haha which was good for him cause he'd been wanting it for so long. But i feel our keepers need to buck up so all the best!

They scored 2 before the first half ended and I came in in the second half! Haha its always a joy to play for NJC! Ken pulled one back for us shortly after and from then on we just played better. Towards the end, there was this moment when i received the ball and pushed the ball in front of the guy, beating him, The joy and shiokness was uncomprehensible. Den i managed to send a cross in which bounced and forced the defender to handball! PENALTY! Darren scored the resulting penalty and shortly after the final whistle went! Haha the feeling was great.

Well I should know better than to be complacent because i am one of the few who has nothing to be complacent about and has much more to improve on. If all of us continue to work hard and progress on from this trip, I'm sure we will be much better and our performance will improve.

This might sound dangerously girly, but I love NJC SOCCER TEAM - My second home!
